Yanos Workforce & Health aims to develop programmes and projects that will contribute to the society’s requirements of knowledge on the relationship between wellbeing and health, and improve the supply, distribution and training of professional health workforce.

The existence and quality of services to promote health, prevent illness or to cure and rehabilitate depend on the knowledge, skills and motivation of human resources for health. Countries must ensure that their health systems get the right number of service providers with the right skills to the right place at the right time.

We work together with different countries to strengthen their capacity to plan, educate and manage their health workforce so that health services can best meet health needs.
